Fredrick has over five years experience in the area of youth development work in Kenya, having worked with Kibera Community Youth Programme as one of the founders and Director.He currently continues to serve at KCYP as an Associate Director from April 1st 2008.

He also serves as a member on the international advisory council of Tallberg Foundation,a Swedish organization that brings together world leaders for reflections on world issues in Sweden yearly. Early in 2008,Fredrick was selected as an advisor to the newly formed Disability Rights Fund,a grant-making initiative that seeks to support DPOs in their efforts to implement the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Financial Administrator

Elizabeth is a holder of CPA(K) and is currently the financial administrator at KEDAN.She joned KEDAN in 2006 having previously worked for East Africa X-Ray suppliers Ltd as the accountant for three years, and then proceeded to work with Pharma Limited as the credit controller for two years.


She has developed a passion for working with young diasbled people and looks forward to taking KEDAN to greater heights.


George Kasera

HIV/AIDS programs Manager

Mr Kasera holds a diploma in project Management, community Development (ABMA certified), and Computer Engeneering.Previously he worked for Kenya Revenue Authority for two years as a data clerk. George has a wealth of experience on matters of Disability having worked for Green Development disabled people group as s programme Officer for two years.
Currently he works for KEDAN as a Program Manager in charge of Disability and HIV, a position he has held since February 2007 to date. He also serves as a member of the steering committee in comonwealth Disabled peoples forum (Youth Voice) formed in March 2008 in the UK.


Kennedy Okongo
Mr.Kennedy Okong'o
Program Officer Placement & Livelihood Project

Kennedy holds a diploma in Law from Kenya School of Professional Studies and is currently pursuing a degree in sociology at Day Star University.


He joined KEDAN as a member during its formation stages and later joined the management in October 2007. He previously worked with Nairobi West centerfor the Vulnerable as a rights trainer.
